  I did have the Launchkey Mini but I only used it about once and therefore returned it.
  With Logic Pro X I can use musical typing to input the notes if I want and some of the software drummer tracks translate perfectly to the VProm. Plus I have loads of drum midi files and I can move stuff around until they match the mapping on the VProm.
  If you do buy it just beware that it takes a lot of days for the download link to come through. It took me 6 days to get mine. You will get it though.
  It's a great VST, the sounds are amazing. I've been looking for a Linn plugin for ages and after messing with samples this really is the best thing I've found.
  You can even edit in your own presets, change the tuning of the various drums etc.

• +1 for Ally James. You can also find other drum sounds for it on the internet formums, the old libraries that were removed from the original version.
  I use my NI Maschine in midi-mode as an input device.
